Market Maps
Last updated June 25, 2026
A Market Map is a table of companies in a market, researched together — the fast way from "every company in this space" to "the five worth pursuing."
Build a map
Two ways to get companies in:
- Import a file — a CSV or Excel of companies. See Importing companies.
- Ask Luna — use Find Companies and let Luna build the list.
Research in bulk
Alkemy researches each one. Status moves from Researching to Researched. To refresh:
- Rerun Research — redo the general research.
- Rerun KeyIntel — refresh the KeyIntel: your questions, answered, with sources.
⏱️ What to expect: researching a long list runs in the background. The table fills in as companies finish.
Shortlist the winners
Qualify the keepers, Disqualify the rest. The cards up top count Researching, Researched, and Disqualified, so you see progress at a glance.
Export
Export the table to a CSV when you're done.
Market Map vs. Project
These two names overlap, so to be clear:
- A Market Map is the companies table itself.
- A Project is the workspace that holds it (find your maps under Projects).
